The Vision

DSC_1491

What is your vision; remember why you were motivated to come to my yoga class.. You made a huge decision and that was awesome! You have made a great commitment to change the lives of others, it’s a huge thing!

Remember that your vision comes out of your own practise, so do your practise! What you learn, what you read, your physical yoga practises, pranayama and relaxation, your vision will come out of that. There is no end goal to this learning; you will be constantly learning yoga once you start teaching, no one knows everything to know about yoga, so be ready for your journey and create a beautiful vision for yourself.

Your thoughts become your words and actions. What is it that you want to achieve by learning yoga? What is your bigger picture? Imagine what your life could be like if you had a regular practise, what would come out of it. Gandhi once said, “Be the change you want to see in the world” Remember the way you think determines everything that happens to you.

Only you know what your vision is! This is big picture thinking, if this is scary, start small, take one step at a time. You could try a vision board if you like colours and pictures. Try brain storming ideas. As friends to help you if need be.

I hope this helps you and excites you to really plan how to do your practise. You may have other ideas of how to motivate yourself, why not share your ideas with others!
